HIRING: JACC Evening Assistant

JACC Evening Assistant works under the direction of the JAHC executive director and the JACC Director and serves in the late afternoon and evenings at the JACC, providing both event security and daily record keeping.

Duties include evening cash reconciliations, daily filing, Lobby Shop inventories, general housekeeping in the Lobby Shop, Gallery, and JACC. This person assists with the online calendar entries and patron communications on Facebook, Twitter, and the website. The person assembles Welcome packets, and prepares membership updates and renewals.

On an as needed basis, this person serves as the assistant/security for events occurring in the JACC.

This position works late afternoons and evenings as needed 5 days per week, generally Tuesday through Saturday. JACC Evening Assistant JAHC Employment application 2013

Hiring: JACC Director needed

The Juneau Arts & Humanities Council is hiring for a Juneau Arts & Culture Center Director. This position works under the direction of the JAHC executive director to oversee the operations and activities of the Juneau Arts & Culture Center.
The mission of the Center is to:
1. Serve as a community arts center for performances, exhibits, rehearsals, meetings, events, and promotion of the arts, and as a centerpiece for the “cultural campus” identified in the City and Borough of Juneau’s Comprehensive Plan,
2. And be an overflow for Centennial Hall, expanding the capacity for the community to accommodate large conferences and meetings.

The Board of Trustees set the goal for the Center to be “bursting at the seams” with community activities. The primary objective of this position is to meet this goal efficiently, creatively, and within budget constraints. This position ensures the overall well-being of the facility.
The position is open until filled. Interviews will be scheduled for the week of May 20.
