Kenai River Fog
By Deborah F. Sounart, Kenai
Frosty morn o’er river run rises foggy dew
To drench bare limbs in frozen hues
Of winter white and sparkling light,
Played a deux alla arctic cue.
When through these icy prisms shine
Pure light, its beam refined;
Then fractured, broken, color woken,
Raiment wholly divine.
