Do you have an urge to splash paint and share ideas? Kenai Fine Arts Watercolor Group is planning a “New Year” of fun starting in February. Adult watercolorists from all walks of life and skill levels meet at Kenai Fine Art Center each month to paint together, share ideas, find out about workshops, upcoming exhibitions, and classes. You don’t need to be a member of the Peninsula Art Guild to attend but your support in any way is always appreciated.

The group will meet on the second Saturday of each month from noon-3 p.m. in Gallery ONE of the Kenai Fine Art Center located across from the Oilers Bingo Hall in Kenai, 816 Cook Avenue. Bring your gear and a light snack to share and your own beverage. Bring fresh ideas, too.

Triumvirate Theatre is currently looking for donations for our upcoming Dinner Theatre and Art Auction, “CLUE.” The show will be at Mykel’s Restaurant on March 8 and 9, with the auction to follow on both nights. If you have something you would like to donate, please contact Chris Jenness at 690-2018, 776-8669, or email at, and we can let you know where to bring it or arrange to pick it up. This annual event is Triumvirate’s major fundraiser for the year, and makes it possible for us to stay open offering live theater, drama camps, local music, and charitable events for people in dire circumstances. It is the community that makes all this possible and we appreciate every item donated and every ticket sold. See you at the show!
