Poem: moonface

By Celia Helen Cash, Kenai

the bright so moon

the moon so bright

i can even write

by the light

of the moon.

still cold outside

the snow looks blue

not so blue inside

with my memories of you

in the moonlight.

seems like forever

yet not so long ago

my heart would burst

when you walked through the door.

still wishing upon stars

searching for meteors

hoping for a sign or two

reminding me not to be blue

because you are thinking of me too!
