■ The Soldotna High School drama department presents the Ray Bradbury play “The Martian Chronicles” at 7 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday in the Soldotna High School theater. Admission is $5.

■ The Kenai Central High School Drama Club’s spring production of Agatha Christie’s “And Then There Were None,” produced by special arrangement with Samuel French, will be performed Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m., and Sunday at 3 p.m. in the Renee Henderson Auditorium. Tickets are $5 per person, and are available from cast members or at the door.

■ The Kenai Peninsula Bachelor Auction takes place Saturday at Main Street Tap & Grill in Kenai, with the proceeds to benefit the Central Peninsula Relay for Life. Meet the bachelors from 6-7 p.m.; auction begins at 7 p.m. The event includes a no-host bar and hors d’oeuvres by Kenai Catering. Local bachelors will be auctioned off with prizes! Tickets are $25 each, only 100 will be sold. Tickets are available via Johna Beech at 907-394-6006, or at Main Street Tap & Grill.

■ The Kenai Community Library will hold a poetry reading in conjunction with National Poetry Month on April 25. Community members of all ages are invited to recite a favorite poem or read an original. Space is limited and participants will be chosen on a first-come, first-serve basis. ■ Curtain Call Consignment Boutique, 1212 First Ave. in Kenai, presents a 4th Anniversary Fashion Show from 2-4 p.m. May 5, with live music, refreshments and entertainment. Tickets are $10 and available at Curtain Call. For more information, call CNS Events, 252-7929 or 394-4559.

■ The Kenai Peninsula Borough School District’s annual student art show will be on display at the Kenai Fine Arts Center in Old Town Kenai for the month of April.

■ The art and photography of Scott Elyard and Raven Amos will be on display for the month of April at K-Bay Caffe. “Archosaurs & Robots” is a combination of two prior shows in Anchorage: “Dinosaurs & Robots,” and “Archosaurs & Automata.” The official opening is First Friday, April 5.

■ An all acoustic jam takes place every Thursday. The jam is as Christ Lutheran Church in Soldotna on the first Thursday of the month, and at the Kenai Senior Center during the rest if the month. Jam starts at 6:30 p.m.

■ Veronica’s in Old Town Kenai has open mic Friday at 6:30 p.m. and live music Saturday with Caribbean Slim at 6:30 p.m.

■ Odie’s Deli in Soldotna has live music Friday from 6-8 p.m. and Pub Quiz night every Wednesday from 6-8 p.m.

■ The Studio Espresso Shop at Spur Highway and Nikiski Avenue in Nikiski hosts an open mic night on Saturdays starting at 7 p.m. Call 776-7655.

■ St. Elias Brewing Company has live music Thursdays from 7 to 9 p.m.

■ AMVETS Post 4 in the Red Diamond Center holds steel-tip darts at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesdays; steak dinner from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday; and karaoke at 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

■ The Bow bar in Kenai has karaoke at 9 p.m. Thursdays and live music Fridays and Saturdays at 10 p.m.

■ Hooligans Saloon in Soldotna has poker Tuesdays and Thursdays starting at 5:30 p.m. and live music Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights.

■ The Duck Inn on Kalifornsky Beach Road has karaoke at 9 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays.

■ Mykel’s in Soldotna has live music Thursdays from 6-9 p.m. Robb Justice, and Fridays from 6:30-9:30 p.m. with Bob Ramponi and Dave Unruh.

■ Caribou Family Restaurant in Soldotna has live music by Wally Hyde 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays, 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Fridays and 5 to 8 p.m. on Saturdays.

■ Main Street Tap and Grill has Wednesday karaoke with Mark Gage, Thursday acoustic music with Dave Boyle and Dustin Aaronson, and live music with 9Spine Friday and Saturday.

■ The Kenai Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Center will hold the 2013 Indoor Spring Market from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., April 12-13. The Market will be at the Kenai Visitor and Cultural Center. For more information call Harold at 283-1991.
