Poet's Corner: An Ode to Officer Watson

An Ode to Officer Watson

Tawney M. Jones, Kenai

An officer’s widow

That’s who you are

In a way it’s an honor

You would gladly avoid

Your wonderful husband

Brave and kind as he was

He was just helping people

It was his call from above

So in his memory

We’d like you to know

That we loved him also

Just thought you should know
