A Raging Storm’s Approaching
(Good Bye America)

There’s a raging storm approaching;
the assault’s most everywhere.
In public places, we’ve been warned,
“Don’t talk to God in prayer.”
Library books on school shelves,
which tell of our belief and creed,
become literature unjustly titled,
“ones our children do not need.”
Unbelievers are attempting
to take our Ten Commandments away.
In government buildings it’s been said,
“They won’t be on display.”
God’s guidelines were to protect us;
He quoted them in His Word,
and I’d rather submit to His values,
than foreign ones I’ve heard.
When we salute our nation’s flag,
we pledge our allegiance “Under God”
but some would like these two words
placed before the firing squad.
Others find our pride offensive,
that we fly our Stars ‘n Stripes at all.
Please, unless you choose loyalty,
pack a bag, make a quick withdrawal.
Our faith is shown on our currency;
it’s not unsightly, nor is it unjust,
but some atheist’s poor judgment
wants to remove “In God We Trust.”
What happened to our love of God,
Christian freedoms we once shared?
Have we become completely disabled,
our sight permanently impaired?
We live in this wholesome land;
a country which God has truly blessed;
how low have we quietly sunk to,
how far in the pit have we regressed?
Yes, I see a raging storm approaching,
and it’s coming much too fast.
How long, thru His abundant grace,
will God allow this storm to last?
