These recipes are from my well worn cookbook:
“A Century of Mormon Cookery”, printed in 1985
1 pound of lean ground beef
1 small head of cabbage, chopped coarsely
1 medium onion, chopped
1 can tomato soup
1/2 cup water
Salt and pepper
Cook beef, until lightly browned and drain. Season with salt and pepper
In a 3 quart oiled casserole, layer 1/3 of cabbage, 1/2 of the ground beef and
1/2 half of the chopped onion.
Top with the other 1/3 portion of cabbage, the remain beef and onion.
