MOMS GOOD BISCUITS
I never mastered the art of making biscuits or dumpling.
I prefer to open a can of biscuits. Mom always served
biscuits with her fried chicken for Sunday dinner. Uncle Guy
would compliment Mom on how good everything was, “especially
your biscuits, Loretta, and could I have the last of that good gravy too?”
Mom always waited until he asked her for it. Makes me smile!
Set oven to 400°
In a bowl:
1 cup of flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp cream of tartar
1/8 tsp salt
