HAPPY HALLOWEEN
By Brett Van Sickle, Kenai
October has arrived, and it’s that time of year.
For costumes, candy, and a tad bit of fear.
Decorations are emerging, for the thrill of that night.
Ghosts, goblins, and witches, are out to spread fright.
Kids of all ages are out for a thrill.
As they race for the houses, looking for candy to fill.
Their trick or treat buckets, of all sizes and shapes.
This is not the evening, for healthy things like grapes.
