I would like to express my sincere thank you to the community for recognizing and supporting the efforts of ROC the Kenai. ROC the Kenai stands for “Respect Our Community.” My Caring for the Kenai project of finding a solution to the excessive fish waste and trash problem on the Kenai Beaches developed into a two year passion. This summer, numerous community members realized the significant dilemma that our beaches face during the month of July and helped out in many ways.
