I think this is an issue that is important to many people in Alaska: the cost of medication or no medication.
I am a 41 year old disabled single mother of a 16 year old daughter. I had a horrific motor vehicle accident, and was hit by a drunk driver. This was in 1993. It left me with a severe brain injury, and many broken bones. I lay in the hospital for 3 months, all because "D.T" decided to drive drunk. He got eleven months, and I got life. I had a trach for almost 7 years, and I deal with daily headaches and a body filled with pain everyday, 24/7, 365 days a year.
