One year ago, Kenai voters overwhelmingly rejected the city’s proposed comprehensive plan that would have allowed commercial and other development in certain neighborhoods. But at the same time, voters re-elected those who came up with the plan.
On October 7, we will choose two Kenai city council members. Mike Boyle will be getting my vote. He is the one candidate that opposed the comprehensive plan as written, and that spoke up to protect neighborhoods like Beaver Loop and MAPS.
