The Kenai Peninsula Food Bank would like to thank all those who participated in our March 2nd “Chefs of the Night” fund raising event. All the attendees, chefs, volunteers, and ticket holders have reported having a great time eating, visiting and dancing to the rousing music of Don Weller and J.D. Uponen.

Albert Pine, an English author in the 1850s once said, “What we do for ourselves dies with us. What we do for others and the world remains and is immortal.” On behalf of those we provide services, the Kenai Peninsula Food Bank Board of Directors and staff thank all those who support the Kenai Peninsula Food Bank throughout the year.

When you donate through Pick.Click.Give., you make what is called an "unrestricted gift." Like other unrestricted gifts, the organization will use the funds to support its mission. If you chose to share your name with the organizations you choose, you will receive acknowledgement when your gift arrives at the organization in late October or early November of the year you donate. In 2011, organizations received donor names in December.
