A Homer High School football player and his older brother were arrested today on one count each of second-degree assault, a felony. In charging documents, Alaska State Troopers allege that two brothers, Anthony Resetarits, 20, and Joseph Resetarits, 18, sexually assaulted an extremely drunk boy at a teenage drinking party Sept. 8.
Joseph Resetarits played this season for the Homer Mariners football team, but as of today was removed from the team, said Homer High School Principal Allan Gee. Gee and Coach Cam Wyatt agreed to remove him, Gee said.
