On behalf of the Kenai Police Department, I wish to thank the Kenai Elks Lodge members for your continued support of the DARE program. The Kenai Elks Lodge is the sole financial support for the DARE program in the Kenai schools for the 2012 school year. Your contributions make it possible to supply hundreds of Kenai students with the DARE materials necessary to participate in this program. DARE students are able to learn about drugs, how drugs affect the body, friendships, peer pressure, advertising, ways to be in charge, and, most importantly, how to make good choices.
