Not even rain can stop our parade. This last weekend was beautiful. The sun was shining, the greens were glowing and the course was packed full of golfers.

We had the Quilters Tournament on Saturday, and it was a success. There were 17 teams out on the course and not one golf cart left in the lot.

Boy, I can’t believe how fast the week goes by. Seems that I just finished last week’s news. Over the weekend, we enjoyed having some of our Seldovia and Seward golfers come by and play a round and sit and visit for a while. We all seem to be on the same page and would like the weather to warm up but this rain has done great things for the fairways and greens.

Larry, Sissy and Rob put on their rain gear and got the fertilizer spreader out and fed the fairways, with the rain they (not the crew — they looked like drowned rats) should be looking great in a few days.

nother week of golf has quickly passed us by. The greens are coming in great. It’s amazing how fast things grow in Alaska once they get a start.
