Contributions to fight hunger appreciated

I would like to take the time to say a well done and thank you to Wal-Mart and their managing staff for their continuous support. People on the Peninsula should know that Wal-Mart continues to account for approximately 50 percent of all incoming food that local stores donate to the Kenai Peninsula Food Bank. This decision to support us and the residents of the community who are in need of help, has in no small way kept us from getting into a food deficit situation.
