Homer and Bethel picked up pool victories at the King of the Mountain Wrestling Tournament in Seward on Friday and Saturday.
The purpose of the tournament is to get the wrestlers a lot of competition in a short period of time. Ronn Hemstock, a coach in Seward, calculated there were about 675 matches in two days.
“The people got their money’s worth,” Hemstock said. “They came and played.”
Homer won Pool A, while Bethel took Pool B.
