The 2012 Ripple Effect Film Series, presented by the KRC Sustainability Club, will begin at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 23 in room 109 at KRC's Ward Building. The film series features thought-provoking films that explore the human connection to and impact on earth.
The first film to be shown will be "Red Gold," a documentary showing the growing unrest among Alaska Native, commercial and sport fishermen who oppose the proposed Pebble Mine as well as the thoughts of mine officials who wish to argue their case.
