Stocks celebrates 'golden' birthday
Donovan stocks of Soldotna celebrated a "golden" birthday recently, turning 11 on Nov. 11, 2011. Donovan is the son of John Stocks and is a fifht-grader at Redoubt Elementary. He celebrated with a special trip to H2Oasis in Achorage.

Turkey Trot 5k, 10k on tap
The Tustumena 200 is holding a Turkey Trot Nov. 25 at the Kenai Visitor Center. Races start at 2 p.m. and the distances are 5-kilometers, 10-kilometers and a shorter Tot Trot. The entry fee is $20 per person. For more information go to
