Young ladies' conference scheduled


There is a Radiant Purity Video Conference for young ladies ages 12-22 to be held at the North Kenai Chapel, Mile 29 of the Kenai Spur Highway on April 5 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and April 6 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. How can a young lady stay emotionally and physically pure as she waits for God’s best? What is a young lady to do while she waits? How can parents protect and guide? Taught by Sarah Mally, author of Before You Meet Prince Charming, and the Bright Lights team, this conference will provide practical and Biblical answers to everyday questions and deep life struggles. Apostolic Assembly observes Resurrection

The Apostolic Assembly of Jesus Christ is celebrating Jesus’ Resurrection beginning with its annual three day purification fast to be broken with communion at the 7:00 a.m. “Sonrise” Service on Sunday.

Starting at 10:30 a.m., the Sunday School has planned a morning of special activities, beginning with a play, “His Legacy Lives On”, performed by the 7th and 8th grade and high school classes for children ages 3 through high school, and ending with its annual treasure hunt. In addition, all children will receive treats and participate in other festivities with their respective classes. An evening worship service begins at 5:30 p.m. and will include the AAJC Choir’s inspiring cantata, “His Last Days”, along with other special music and songs. Everyone is invited to attend any and all of these services commemorating the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Sterling Lutheran Church plans service, brunch

Soldotna Church of God holds communion, Easter services

The Soldotna Church of God located at 105 W. Redoubt Ave. is holding a Good Friday Communion Service today at 7:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome and a Nursery will be available. This Easter Sunday you are invited to join the Soldotna Church of God for a look back at the origin of the Easter holiday, and at a moment that changed the world. We would love for you and your family to join us Sunday during our 9:00 or 11:00 worship service to share the Easter story that has the power to transform your life! Grace Lutheran School plans open house

Grace Lutheran School will hold an open house April 6 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to tour the classrooms, meet the teachers, and learn about the high-quality Christian education your child can receive (Pre-K through 8th grade). Soldotna Day Aglow to meet

Soldotna Day Aglow will meet every Wednesday at Peninsula Christian Center located in Soldotna. There will be coffee and fellowship at 9:30 a.m. followed by 10 a.m. worship, teaching and prayer. Nikiski Aglow to meet

Nikiski Aglow is hosting the Beth Moore DVD lecture/study series “The Law of Love — lessons from the pages of Deuteronomy.” The location of the meeting is Mile 23 North Road at Nikiski New Hope Christian Fellowship. Clothes Quarters open weekly
