National Public Health Week healthy tips

In recognition of National Public Health Week, the Kenai Public Health Center is providing health tips throughout the week. Take one small step each day for a healthier life.

Today’s tip: Creating a Healthy Workplace — Wellness and safety in the workplace are good for health and for business. Let’s make prevention work for us.

■ Take a break and go for a walk or do some calisthenics

■ Eat a piece of fruit in place of junk food

■ Compliment a co-worker on a healthy habit they have

■ Share a healthy recipe with your colleagues

■ Blow bubbles not smoke
