Freedom Realty joins Century 21 family

Century 21 North Homes Realty has announced the opening of new offices in Soldotna at 170 N. Birch Street, and in Kenai at 502 Lake Street.

In a press release, Century 21 North Homes Realty Co-Owner/General Manager Michael Droege said the new offices, operating as Century 21 Freedom Realty, will offer area homebuyers and sellers an increased level of service and convenience in their real estate transaction needs.

Century 21 North Homes is headquartered in Anchorage.

Prior to joining the Century 21 family, Freedom Realty operated as an independent brokerage in the area for 27 years, building its business to be the largest real estate company on the Kenai Peninsula. Century 21 Freedom Realty enjoys nearly 40 percent share of all real estate transactions in their respective market areas. They have professional and customer focused sales and administrative staffs, and their sales professionals are the industry leaders in Soldotna and Kenai.

Century 21 Freedom Realty also welcomes Anna M. Johns as Broker. She owned and operated Preferred Realty & Management, until joining Century 21 Freedom Realty March 22. Her experience includes residential and commercial real estate, land sales and property management. Anna will be the Broker in Charge of the Century 21 Freedom Realty operation and will be assisted by Fred Braun, who remains as Associate Broker in charge of our Century 21 Freedom Realty, Kenai office and Dave Keating, Associate Broker, who will continue to support our growth and expansion in the Soldotna.

Johns is a lifelong Alaska with deep roots in the community. Anna’s family homesteaded on the Peninsula. She and her husband, J.W., raised four children in Nikiski and have four grandchildren as well. Anna attended Parks School of Business, attended college at KPC and has 36 years of property management experience. She has also served the community as President of Central Peninsula Habitat for Humanity (2011, 2012 & 2013) and coached High School Cheerleading teams on the Peninsula. Anna is has served the Kenai Peninsula Association of Realtors in many capacities including two terms as President (2007, 2013). She was awarded Realtors of the Year in 2008. Anna is a member of the National Association of Realtors and has earned her CRS, GRI and E-Pro designations.
