Nadia and Adam Anders of Nikiski announce the birth of their daughter, Hannah Eva, at 1:44 a.m. Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at Central Peninsula Hospital in Soldotna. She weighed 8 pounds, 9 ounces. She joins siblings, Samuel, 5, Daniel, 4, and Eliza, 3. Her grandparents are Esther Broder of New York, Gerard Moszkowicz of Belgium, and Martha and Ed Anders of Fairbanks.
Kassandra Johnson of Kenai has been named to the Dean’s List at Northwest Nazarene University for the 2013 spring semester. To be eligible for the academic honor, a student must earn a 3.5 grade-point average while taking at least 12 graded credit hours of classes.
