Weddings

Celebrating their 60th anniversary, Daniel and Bonnie (Clark) Duncan were married on October 16, 1953 in Juneau, Alaska. They have five children – James, Jerry, Ron, Richard and Kathleen. They have nine grand-children, and two wonderful great-grandchildren. They reside in Soldotna where they are a host family for the Peninsula Oilers Baseball players. They enjoy church activities with family and friends.

 

Kiana Vasquez and Tyson Hughey were married in an evening ceremony on Oct. 12, 2012 at the Shalimar Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas.

The bride is the daughter of Luis and Pamela Rosano of Eugene, Ore. She is a 2000 graduate of Skyview HighSchool Graduate and a 2003 graduate of New Frontier Vo-Tech, where she studied accounting. She is a stay at home mom of four kids. Joclynn Tri of Sterling was her maid of honor.

The groom is the son of Joe and Alyce Hughey of Soldotna. He is employed by Peterson Pacific in Junction City, Ore. Matt Klum of Kenai was his groomsman.

Special guests included Chatel Birkett of Arizona.

The couple plans to honeymoon in Honolulu, Hawaii in 2014. They reside in Junction City, Ore.
