Ashley Carver and Joe Limon of San Antonio, Texas, announce the birth of their son, Gage Gary Carver-Limon, on Oct. 11, 2013. He weighed 7 pounds, 9 ounces and measured 20 1/4 inches. His Great Grandma Hibbard lives in Council Bluffs, Iowa. His grandparents are Jack and Nancy Carver.


Kristi Isaak of Soldotna recently earned her Associate of General Studies degree from Northwestern State University of Louisiana.

Scott Daniel Litchfield graduated Cum Laude (Grade Point Average 3.5 to 3.74) from Boise State University on Dec. 20, 2013 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering. Scott is a 2009 graduate of Cook Inlet Academy. He is the son of David and Ginny Litchfield of Soldotna.

Eric Gregory Bell graduated from Boise State University on Dec. 20, 2013 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. He is the son of Greg and Kimberly Bell of Soldotna and Texas. Eric is a 2009 Cook Inlet Academy graduate.

The following Peninsula residents were among those students at George Fox University who earned a spot on the school’s dean’s list for the fall 2013 semester. Students had to earn a grade point average of 3.5 or better to land a spot on the list.

■ Delissa Severson of Soldotna, a senior majoring in social work;

■ Megan Arnoldy of Moose Pass, a senior majoring in mathematics;

■ Brandi Wagoner of Kenai, a freshman majoring in nursing.

The following students are among Bob Jones University students named to the Dean’s List for grades achieved during the Fall 2013 semester. To qualify for the Dean’s List, students must earn a 3.0 GPA.

■ Sarah Cobb of Ninilchik. Cobb is a Senior Nursing major.

■ Esther Knox of Ninilchik. Knox is a Freshman Accounting major.

■ Carla Pherson of Ninilchik. Pherson is a Sophomore Piano Pedagogy major.

Events, wedding, engagement and birth submissions may not be older than six months. Wedding anniversary announcements are printed in five-year increments beginning with the 20th.
