Masters swimmers make waves at state meet

Swimmers from the Top of the World Swimming U.S. Masters Swimming team, including Stephanie Musgrove, Emily Smith, Sarah Williams, Angie Brennan, Judy Abrahams, Joanne Wainwright, Susan Ellis, Danny McIntosh, Nate Olson, Sean O’Reilly, Bob Jones, and Jeff Woods rallied to place third in the Men’s, Women’s, and Combined divisions at the 2014 Alaska Masters Short Course Yards State Championships at Bartlett Pool in Anchorage on Feb. 8-9. Age-group high point winners including Nate Olson, Joanne Wainwright, and Susan Ellis.

Nearly 100 swimmers from around the state, ages 20 to 78, plus one swimmer from Arizona, traveled to Anchorage for this annual event.
