The Kenai Peninsula Builders Association is accepting applications for four $1000 scholarships. Any member of the KPBSD 2014 senior class, current juniors who will graduate in 2015, or any individual 21 years of age or younger (high school graduate or GED) who plans to pursue a career in a building-related field may qualify. Applicant must attend a community college, university, or vocational school in the state of Alaska. Applications must be received by the April 28 deadline. Home Watch Service Plus KPB of Soldotna has gained Accredited Member status in the NHWA for the second consecutive year.
Owner Stace Escott decided to get involved in the Home Watch industry while living on Amelia Island, Florida. Escott was an award-winning Director of the Year (2007) for an upscale retirement community. Escott has lived in Alaska for over 18 years and understands what it takes to care for an Alaskan home. It is this unique experience that Home Watch Service Plus utilizes to serve members of the community.

Thursday, April 24 — 10:30 a.m., Interviewing Skills Workshop; 3:30 p.m., Vocational Rehabilitation Orientation.
Friday, April 25 — No workshops offered.
