Sterling Judo Club participates in tournament

The Sterling Judo Club participated in the 55th Annual Alaska State Judo Championships on May 24.

The state-wide competition involves clubs from around Alaska as well as a club from Whitehorse, Yukon Territory.

Sterling Judo Club participants include: Luke Ermold, Intermediate 1, 4th place; Jason Haas, Senior Men, 4th Place; Kianna Holland, Intermediate 2, champion; Clayton Holland, Masters (35 and up), champion; John Holland, Juvenile A, champion; Holleigh Jaime, Intermediate 2, 2nd place; Payton Lawton, Intermediate 1, champion; Nicholas McConnell, Intermediate 2, 4th Place; Paul McConnell, Masters (35 and up), 2nd place; Jacob McConnell, Juvenile A, champion and silver.
