March 6, Lunch Time (11:30 a.m.) — Oreo Cookie Day!, $7 suggested donation

March 15, Van leaves at 3:30 p.m. — No host Dinner to Rosco’s in Ninilchik (minimum sign up -8), $5 ride fee plus your dinner

March 16, Lunch Time (11:30 a.m.) — St. Patrick’s Day Party, $7 suggested donation

March 21, Lunch Time (11:30 a.m.) — Birthday Lunch, $7 suggested donation, Free if you are 60-plus years and your birthday is in March

March 23, All Day — No regular activities today. Join us this evening for March for Meals Fundraiser

March 23, 6:00 p.m. — 9th Annual March for Meals Fundraiser, $30 per person (Tickets available at the Kenai Senior Center)

March 27, 1:00 p.m. — Egg Decorating for Home Delivered Meals, Free

March 30, Lunch Time (11:30 a.m.) — Easter Brunch, $7 suggested donation

Mondays

9:00 – 11:00 a.m. — Blood Pressure Checks Free

9:00 – 10:00 a.m. — Video Exercise with Richard Simmons and Ellen Cramer, Free (paper work required)

10:00 -11:00 a.m. — Growing Strong Strength Training Class designed to decrease bone loss One time $25 equipment fee

10:30 – 11:30 a.m. — Dog Therapy

11:00 – 11:30 a.m. — Bell Choir Practice

12:30 p.m. — Pinochle

1:00 p.m. — Beading, Bring your bead work.

Tuesdays

9:00-10:00 a.m. — Zumba Gold with Truman, Donations appreciated

9:30 – 10:30 a.m. — Guitar Class with Gerald or Tom

9:00 – 11:00 a.m. — T.O.P.S Take Off Pounds Sensibly, Membership dues

10:00 – 11:00 a.m. — Tai-Chi, Free (Paper work required.)

12:30 – 1:00 p.m. — BINGO (play for prizes not cash)

12:35 p.m. — Bridge

1st and 3rd Wednesdays, 9:00 a.m.-noon — Social Security. The Kenai Senior Center is the venue to talk to the Anchorage Social Security Office. First come first serve sign in sheet. No age limit or cost.

5:00 – 9:30 p.m. — Bridge

6:00 – 9:30 p.m. — Cribbage

6:00 – 9:30 p.m. — Fastrack

6:30 – 9:30 p.m. — Bluegrass Jam Session (except first Thursday of the month), Bring a finger food to share.

Fridays

10:00 – 11:30 a.m. — Sewing Group

1:00 p.m. — Pinochle

Community Meals are served Monday-Friday from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. (unless otherwise noted) for a $7 suggested donation for individuals 60-plus years and a cost of $14 per person for those under 60. Our mission is to serve as a community focal point for senior services where elders may come together to engage in opportunities with dignity and personal growth. Please call 907-283-4156 or stop by 361 Senior Court, Kenai, anytime during our regular operating hours; 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (Thursday evenings until 9:30 p.m.).
