There will be a Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Feb. 9 at St. Francis by the Sea Episcopal Church, located at 110 South Spruce Street in Kenai. All-you-can-eat pancakes will be served.

Troopers have identified the woman who died in a two-vehicle car crash Monday morning as 19-year-old Raquelle Reynolds of Soldotna. She was the driver and sole occupant of a 2007 Equinox that collided with a pickup truck around 5:35 a.m.

Kenai Peninsula residents got a rude awakening early Sunday morning when a 7.1 magnitude earthquake hit the Lower Cook Inlet. No injuries have been reported since the tremor clocked in at 1:30 a.m.
