March is the month I find myself getting ready for the summer harvest. This means looking in the freezer to see what fish and meat I need to can. Also, what berries, rhubarb and vegetables need to be used before their quality deteriorates.
A Shrove Pancake Supper will be offered from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 4 at St. Francis by the Sea Church, 110 South Spruce Street, Kenai. The meal is $3 per person or families for $12. All welcome.

Katherine Obrien of Kenai, and Daniel Rivenbark of Soldotna were named to Dean's List at Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona. Students with a GPA of 3.50 or higher are eligible for the Dean's List.
