Clothes ministry ongoing
The Clothes 4 U Ministry offers free clothing to benefit the community. The ministry is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays at First Baptist Church Soldotna Mission House. Clothes 4 U accepts clothing donations only. For more information, call 262-4304.

Guest speaker announced
Soldotna Day Aglow has guest speaker Vicki Toliver scheduled for Wednesday November 9.  Meeting starts at 10:00 a.m.  at Peninsula Christian Center in Soldotna.  Vicki is a world traveler and will share a message on the Fathers heart. The meeting is open to anyone interested in hearing Vicki speak, free child care is provided.

Luthern church hosts dinner
The Christ Luthern Church in Soldotna will host its annual Lutefisk and Lefse dinner Saturday, Nov. 5 from 5-7 p.m. For more information call 262-4757. Donations accepted at the door.

Church offers after school hang out, harvest party
If you are one of the several kids in grades 6-12 suffering from boredom after school, well have no fear. The Peninsula Grace Youth Center located at mile 19.5 on K-beach road is open Monday through Thursday from 3-5 p.m. Come with your friend and play pool, foosball, ping pong, and video games, or just come to hang out, do your homework and enjoy the music videos while sipping a delicious drink from our in house coffee shop Joe-Mentum. If you're in grades 6-12, come Sunday Oct. 30 from 6-9 p.m. to the third annual Harvest Party at Peninsula Grace Brethren Church. Kenai church offers support groups
Celebrate Recovery, a Christ-centered program for addicts, meets every Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Kenai Church of God. Please see the web: or call 283-4009 for details.
Alateen Recovery group. This is a support group for teens of parents/guardians with addiction problems. The group meets at the same time/location as the Celebrate Recovery group.
"Bible Basics for women." This group meets every Monday at 10 a.m. at Kenai Church of God.

Local missionary to Mexico returns to Alaska
Maria Pedro has returned from another mission trip to Oaxaca, Mexico. There will be a time of sharing on Monday, October 24, at 7 p.m. in Old Town Kenai, 218 Cook Street (across from Oiler's Bingo).

Baptist church hosts club for kids
