Clothes ministry ongoing
The Clothes 4 U Ministry offers free clothing to benefit the community. The ministry is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays at First Baptist Church Soldotna Mission House. Clothes 4 U accepts clothing donations only. For more information, call 262-4304.

Guest speaker announced
Soldotna Day Aglow has guest speaker Vicki Toliver scheduled for Wednesday November 9.  Meeting starts at 10:00 a.m.  at Peninsula Christian Center in Soldotna. The meeting is open to anyone interested in hearing Vicki speak, free child care is provided.

Methodist church announces message
On Sunday, November 13, Dennis Tidwell will bring the message based on Matthew 25:14-30 at the Kenai United Methodist Church.  The worship service begins at 11:00 am followed by a light meal downstairs in the Fellowship Hall.  The church is located on the Kenai Spur Highway next to the Boys and Girls Club.  All are welcome to attend.
Lutheran church hosts dinner

The Christ Lutheran Church in Soldotna will host its annual Lutefisk and Lefse dinner Saturday, Nov. 5 from 5-7 p.m. For more information call 262-4757. Donations accepted at the door.

Baptist church hosts club for kids
Calvary Baptist Church invites community kids to participate in our Awana Kids Club. Children from age 3 up through 6th grade are welcome to join us on Sunday evenings at Kenai Middle School for games, songs, lessons and bible memory verses. Visit for more details, or call CBC at 283-4781.

Kasilof church announces guest speaker
Dr. David Sedaca, a representative of Chosen People Ministeries, will be speaking at Kasilof Community Church on Tuesday, Nov. 8 and Thursday, Nov. 10 at 7 p.m. For more information call 262-7512.

Study, fellowship, worship opportunities
Saint Luke Lutheran Church offers several faith strengthening opportunities during the week. The parish’s Wednesday 10:30 a.m. fellowship/study is focusing on Numbers. Wednesday evening activities take place at the Parish Hall. Visit or call 283-5455 for more information.

Kenai church offers support groups
Celebrate Recovery, a Christ-centered program for addicts, meets every Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Kenai Church of God. Please see the web: or call 283-4009 for details.

Alateen Recovery group: This is a support group for teens of parents/guardians with addiction problems. The group meets at the same time/location as the Celebrate Recovery group. “Bible Basics for women.” This group meets every Monday at 10 a.m. at Kenai Church of God.

God’s Road Map For Peace in the Middle East
Pastor David Sedaca, a representative of Chosen People Ministries, will be speaking at Soldotna Bible Chapel on Wednesday, November 9 at 6:30 p.m. This meeting is open to the public and Soldotna Bible Chapel would like to invite the Christian and Jewish community to attend.

Church offers after-school hangout
If you are one of the several kids in grades 6-12 suffering from boredom after school, well have no fear. The Peninsula Grace Youth Center located at mile 19.5 on K-beach road is open Monday through Thursday from 3-5 p.m.

Soldotna Day Aglow meetings scheduled
