Wednesday study, fellowship and worship on tap
Saint Luke Lutheran Church's Wednesday 10:30 a.m. fellowship/study is currently focusing on Martin Luther's Large Catechism at 48095 Andrews Ave for approximately one hour.

The church's Wednesday evening activities take place at the Parish Hall and consist of a Vespers Service at 5:30 p.m., followed by a potluck fellowship at 6 p.m., and a detailed exegetical study starting at 7 p.m. and currently focusing on Genesis. For more information visit or call 283-5455.

Conference schedule released
The Kalifonsky Christian Center will be hosting their Blow the Trumpet of Revelation Conference starting Jan. 22 running through Jan. 29. The schedule is as follows:
Jan. 27 -- Morning service at 10:30 a.m. and evening service at 7 p.m. Jan. 28 -- No morning service, evening service at 7 p.m. Jan. 29 -- Morning service at 10:30 a.m. For more information call 283-9452.

Coffee Road Rally for human trafficking awareness planned
The You+Me=Justice is sponsoring a Coffee Road Rally (challenge not a race) on Feb. 11 from 1 to 3 p.m. The rally will cost $20 per car and can have up to 4 people on each team. Teams can be made up of youth groups, families, civic organizations, businesses and friends. Teams will proceed to participating coffee shops to drink one cup per participant. The participants will complete the rally at Peninsula Christian Center and have a special debriefing by two Alaska law enforcement agents specializing in human trafficking cases. Baptist church hosts club for kids
Calvary Baptist Church invites community kids to participate in our Awana Kids Club. Children from age 3 up through 6th grade are welcome to join us on Sunday evenings at Kenai Middle School for games, songs, lessons and bible memory verses. Visit for more details, or call CBC at 283-4781.

Women's Bible study opportunity available

Kenai church offers support groups
Celebrate Recovery meets every Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Kenai Church of God. Visit or call 283-4009 for details. Alateen Recovery group:

This is a support group for teens of parents/guardians with addiction problems. The group meets at the same time/location as the Celebrate Recovery group. "Bible Basics for women." This group meets every Monday at 10 a.m. at Kenai Church of God.

5th Sunday Worship announced
The Soldotna Church of God is hosting 5th Sunday Worship on Sunday, Jan. 29 from 6 to 7 p.m. The worship is open to all.

Movie night planned
The Midnight Son Seventh-Day Adventist Church will host a free movie night at 7 p.m. Jan. 27 and 28. The church will show "Courageous," a family film rated PG-13 for police action scenes. The church is located at Mile 8.3 on the Kenai Spur Hwy. in Kenai. For more information call, 776-3723.

Clothes Quarters open weekly
Clothes Quarters at Our Lady of the Angels Church is open every Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and the first Saturday of every month from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Call 283-4555 for more info.

Soldotna Day Aglow meetings scheduled
Soldotna Day Aglow will meet every Wednesday at Peninsula Christian Center located in Soldotna. There will be coffee and fellowship at 9:30 a.m., followed by 10 a.m. worship, teaching and prayer. There will be babysitting provided if needed. For more information contact Judy Risung 283-3534.
