Methodist church welcomes guest speaker
Dennis Tidwell will bring a message addressing "Patience" to the congregation of the Kenai United Methodist Church this Sunday during the 11 a.m. worship hour. The church's pastor, Janice Carlton, will return to the pulpit April 29. A light lunch follows the church service. Precept Ministries International seminar slated
Bob Gilbert, the Director of Training for Precept Ministries International, the organization founded by Jack and Kay Arthur to establish people in God's Word through inductive Bible Study, will be conducting a free seminar at Soldotna Bible Chapel April 26 at 6 p.m. Come hear this inspiring teacher of teachers show us how anyone can discover truth for themselves in God's Word.

Suicide prevention meeting set

Kasilof Community Church moves services
Due to a Feb. 17 fire, Kasilof Community Church is meeting at Tustumena Elementary School. Sunday church services are at 11 a.m. First- through sixth-grade Kid's Program meets Wednesdays at 4 p.m. Junior High and High School Program meets Wednesday's at 6 p.m. Prayer Meeting is Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at the church in the office building.

Soldotna Day Aglow meetings scheduled
Soldotna Day Aglow will meet every Wednesday at Peninsula Christian Center located in Soldotna. There will be coffee and fellowship at 9:30 a.m., followed by 10 a.m. worship, teaching and prayer. There will be babysitting provided if needed. For more information contact Judy Risung 283-3534.
Kenai church offers support groups
Celebrate Recovery meets every Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Kenai Church of God. Visit www.kenaicog.com or call 283-4009 for details. Alateen Recovery group: This is a support group for teens of parents/guardians with addiction problems.
The group meets at the same time/location as the Celebrate Recovery group. "Bible Basics for women" meets every Monday at 10 a.m. at Kenai Church of God.
Wednesday study, fellowship worship offered
Saint Luke Lutheran Church's Wednesday 10:30 a.m. fellowship/study is currently focusing on Martin Luther's Large Catechism at 48095 Andrews Ave for approximately one hour.
The church's Wednesday evening activities take place at the Parish Hall and consist of a Vespers Service at 5:30 p.m., followed by a potluck fellowship at 6 p.m., and a detailed exegetical study starting at 7 p.m. and currently focusing on Genesis.
