Garage sale announced
Star of the North Lutheran Church's Youth Group is holding its 3rd annual garage sale.

The church is collecting donations now and the sale will start June 8 and 9 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 216 N. Forest Dr. next to Fireweed Herb Garden.

Call 283-4153 or 776-8313 for more information. All donations will help them get to the 2013 Youth Conference in Texas.

Vacation Bible School on tap
Free Vacation Bible School will be offered July 9 to 13 from 6 to 8 p.m. and open to Pre-K through students going into 5th grade. Music, crafts, snacks, and fun while learning about God. Kenai church offers support groups
Celebrate Recovery meets every Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Kenai Church of God. Visit www.kenaicog.com or call 283-4009 for details. Alateen Recovery group: This is a support group for teens of parents/guardians with addiction problems.

The group meets at the same time/location as the Celebrate Recovery group. "Bible Basics for women" meets every Monday at 10 a.m. at Kenai Church of God.

Suicide prevention meeting rescheduled
Due to some unforeseen circumstances, the Alaska Gatekeepers Suicide Prevention education has been rescheduled to May 19 from 1 to 5:30 p.m.

The event will be at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church. To attend this free event, visit www.GraceLutheranKenai.com and register online by Wednesday, May 16.

Wednesday study, fellowship worship offered
Saint Luke Lutheran Church's Wednesday 10:30 a.m. fellowship/study is currently focusing on Martin Luther's Large Catechism at 48095 Andrews Ave for one hour.

The church's Wednesday evening activities take place at the Parish Hall at 5:30 p.m., followed by a potluck fellowship at 6 p.m., and an exegetical study starting at 7 p.m.
