Guest speaker, summer worship announced
Star of the North Lutheran Church's Youth Group is holding its third annual garage sale.The church is collecting donations now and the sale will start June 8 and 9 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 216 N. Forest Dr. next to Fireweed Herb Garden. Call 283-4153 or 776-8313 for more information. All donations will help them get to the 2013 Youth Conference in Texas. Church to host gospel meeting
The Funny River Rd. Church of Christ (mile 1/4) will be hosting a gospel meeting with guest speaker Connie Adams from Louisville, Ken. starting Sunday, June 3 and running every weeknight through Friday night June 8. Sunday services are 10 a.m. and again Sunday night at 6 p.m. Services start on the weeknights at 7:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. All are welcome to attend.

Vacation Bible School on tap
Free Vacation Bible School will be offered July 9 to 13 from 6 to 8 p.m. and open to Pre-K through students going into 5th grade. Music, crafts, snacks, and fun while learning about God. Peninsula Grace Brethren Church, Mile 19.5 K-Beach Road. Pre-registration is appreciated. Forms available at

Fellowship welcomes guests
Newlife Christian Fellowship in Kasilof will be hosting Dave Duell ministries of Colorado. 

Services will be held on the dates of June 1st and 2nd. Times are: Saturday June 1 -- 1-3p.m. and 6 p.m; Sunday June 2nd -- 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Duell is a rancher out of Colorado and a mature brother in Christ who pastors and operates in a powerful healing gift. 

Duell ministries is also nationally recognized through their association with Andrew Womack ministries also located in Colorado.

Kenai church offers support groups
Celebrate Recovery meets every Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Kenai Church of God. Visit or call 283-4009 for details. Alateen Recovery group: This is a support group for teens of parents/guardians with addiction problems.

The group meets at the same time/location as the Celebrate Recovery group. "Bible Basics for women" meets every Monday at 10 a.m. at Kenai Church of God.

Wednesday study, fellowship worship offered
Saint Luke Lutheran Church's Wednesday 10:30 a.m. fellowship/study is currently focusing on Martin Luther's Large Catechism at 48095 Andrews Ave for one hour.

The church's Wednesday evening activities take place at the Parish Hall at 5:30 p.m., followed by a potluck fellowship at 6 p.m., and an exegetical study starting at 7 p.m.
