Ten guests make their way to the house. They have never met one another before, nor have they met their mysterious host. Assembled prior to dinner, a voice comes out of the air, accusing each guest of murder. The shocked guests try to exchange information about themselves and their unknown host. Shortly thereafter, one guest chokes to death of potassium cyanide, which someone had dropped into her drink. The discovery of a broken soldier statuette on the ground begins the phantasmagorical events of the play – and rising death count – until its thrilling conclusion.
