Mi'shell L. Reid and Rodney A. French were married on March 23, 2012 at Christ Lutheran Church in Soldotna.
The bride is the daughter of Eugene D. Reid and Dionne L. Maze. She graduated from Soldotna High School in 1992 and received her associate's degree in Technical Business from the University of Alaska Anchorage in 2009. She is employed as the Home-ownership Coordinator for Rural Alaska Community Action Program, Inc. She wore an ivory gown and carried a bouquet of light pink peonies, ivory garden roses and gardenias. Amy Milburn was the Maid of Honor. Bridesmaids were Catherine Adams, Maria Humecky, Sharon Hu, Diana Morlan, Rebecca French, and Teresa Powell. Kaydence Kline was the flower girl.
The groom is the son of Rodney A. French Sr. and Pamela French. He is a 1991 Soldotna High School graduate and is employed as a Drill Site Operator with ConocoPhillips. He wore a black tuxedo with royal blue tie and vest. Rodney K. French Jr. was the Best Man. Groomsmen were Mat Churchill, Hatton Greer, Shayne Hensley, Joseph Hensley, Vern Humecky and Jerry Hu. Lawrence Kline served as an usher, and the ring bearer was Ethan French.
A reception at Alaska Christian College followed the ceremony.
The couple's honeymoon plans included Maui, Hawaii and Anaheim, Calif. They reside in Soldotna.
