Gamas Designs moves to new location in Soldotna

Posted: May 29, 2013 - 2:05pm

The place you’ve been going for the last two decades for custom created designs, screen printing, decals and logos has a new location in Soldotna.  Gamas Designs, owned by Ravin Swan is no on the Kenai Spur Highway across from Beemun’s and next door to Cabin Fever Creations which use to be Radio Shack.  “We only moved about 300 feet north to the strip mall on the Spur Highway.  I started the shop because I was always creative and interested in embroidery and screen printing so I thought it would be a perfect line of business for me, so after a lot of research back in the early nineties I opened at our first location in 1994 so we’re heading into our twentieth year here at the new location in Soldotna,” Ravin told the Dispatch in an interview.

Gamas Designs has a great crew including Danielle Stevenson, Brandi Cissell, Sharron Weston, Glenda Isham and next generation helper grandson Karsten Isham.  “My crew is what makes this business a total delight for me; they are great with the customers and offer fantastic service.  One of the unique things about Gamas is that everything is created and produced right here in shop, we don’t out source anything.  If you need custom embroidered jackets and hats or even screen printed T-shirts, this is the place to shop. With our state of the art vinyl printer, we can print your auto decals, banners and signs. All of the embroidery, screen printing and decals are done right here so we can guarantee your 100% satisfaction on all jobs. Our job is to make your job simple and no job is too big or too small, if you want a one of a kind we’ll do it or if you want 5,000 we’ll do that too and we’ll even get it done at the last minute if necessary,” said Ravin.

One of her favorite and best selling t-shirts is a man fishing in the Kenai with a fish on and the saying “Leave a message; I’m on the other line!” Karsten’s favorite is a t-shirt with his photo and the caption, “When Mom says No! I ask Grandma.” You can create your own gift for friends or family outside and the professionals at Gamas Designs will have a ball customizing your favorite photo or logo for a jacket, shirt or hat.  Stop by their new location or go to www.gamasdesigns.com Gamas Designs is open Monday – Friday 9:00am – 6:00pm or call 262-6370 and tell them Karsten sent you.
