As the Kenai Chamber of Commerce continues to celebrate six decades of serving the business interests they continue to underscore the fun that it is to live and do business in Kenai. Saturday, April 11th the Kenai Chamber of Commerce & Visitor Center hosted their 31st Annual Beer & Wine Experience, “Kenai’s Saturday Night Fever!” “We were totally sold out two weeks in advance this year with our title sponsor being Udelhoven Oilfield System Services,” reported Johna Beech chief operating officer for the Kenai Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Center.

According to Beech the evening of 320 plus people was a catered dinner by Kenai Catering, Kassik’s Beer and Bear Creek wine with the red wine donated by Odom Corp. “Artistic Puppy Photo booth was a hit along with the tunes KO Entertainment provided. Our emcee Kris O’Neal and taking the bids for the outcry auction was auctioneer Steve Lemme, who did a fantastic job entertaining the crowd. We had numerous raffles, including a Duck Hunt across Cook Inlet donated by Fred Braun and AK West Air, a trip to Las Vegas that was donated by Kenai Chamber and Visitor Center, a wagon full of Booze and a Split the Pot –with all the proceeds going to our scholarship fund.

The Treasure Chest full of cash this year was sponsored by AlaskaUSA and the Wall of Guns sponsored by Sportsmans Warehouse. It was a great time and the costumes and dancing a lot of fun. A nice chance to let your hair down or fro it out as the case might be. We truly appreciate all the support for this our major fund raising event and are looking forward to a great summer in the All American City of Kenai,” said Beech.
