Redoubt Realty shows off new facilities on K-Beach Rd.

The efforts of Peninsula born Debbie and Dale Bagley to build their new office building for Redoubt Realty on K-Beach Rd. turned out a huge crowd for the open house the first Thursday in June. “We’re thrilled with the way the building turned out and happy to have such a great response to our open house,” said Debbie. The idea for a new building was Debbie’s but the construction was overseen by her partner and husband Dale, “Tony Dole designed the building for us and Tim Moerlein did our construction and was the builder that completed the project with a great team of subs and craftsman, he did a great job and we’re very happy with the facility,” added Dale. The building features many new state of the art energy saving materials, “We have the LED lights, in floor heating, energy efficient windows and insulated ceiling and even heated sidewalks to keep the snow and ice away where people won’t slip or fall during the winter. We have a paved parking lot that sure is nice for our agents and clients,” said Bagley.

Dale says the economic stability of the Peninsula is one of the reasons they made the investment, “There has been a lot of negative about things but real estate and the economy has continued to do well on the Peninsula. We’ve had a good year so far and I think it will continue into the future. The Peninsula has always been diversified with fishing, oil & gas and tourism. We’ve always been a microcosm of Alaska and I think the Kenai Peninsula is a great place, very diversified and will continue to do very well,” said Dale. Echoing his optimism Debbie said, “We’ve had our best year so far and there is no exodus from the Peninsula. It’s still a sellers’ market with multiple offers. This is a great business and I love working with people and helping them find their perfect home or land to build their dream home on.” The new Redoubt Realty building also has space available for lease, “Part of it is already leased out but we still have 1,600 sq. ft. available,” said Dale.
