Give dad a "Father's Day Promise"

Give dad a big award :)

For Joey Hensley
“My Dad is the best, I love him a lot. He plays in the sun and the water with me. He lets me play with yucky stuff. We go four weelin’ with him and he plays with me in the park. I love him.”
We love him!
Happy Father’s Day,
Love,
Brooke, Torri and Beau

Dad,
Sierra Sorrels
I am going to tell you how my dad rocks. He rocks by feeding me and taking care of me. He takes us to Homer to play on the beach. He takes us to Wasilla to see the horse show and Win Horse Show. He takes us to the zoo to take pictures of the animals. He lets me and my sister Mariah go to the movies. He lets me go play basketball at the Rec. Center. He reads stories to us. He lets us go to my cousins to see our old horses. He lets us go to our school to play on the play ground and the climbing wall.

DAD
By Antonia Talmadge
I am going to tell you how my dad rocks. He drives me to school a lot. He makes me good dinners. Sometimes he takes me out to eat. He takes me to Seattle to see my family. He takes my brother and me fishing. We go camping all the time. He takes me to the movies. He comes to lunch and brings me lunch. We take walks with my brothers dog Fresco. We go to the Rec and play basketball. My dad is the best.

Jim Allen,
A few of us were talking about our childhood memories recently. I have wonderful memories of those years growing up in Missouri on a farm with my father. We moved to Alaska when we were in our teen years and my father’s job changed. I was impressed and proud he could do all those things at his new job because I thought he was only a farmer all those years. Years of long hard work and hours begin to tire a man and once again my father’s job changed because he stays home now in retirement to rest. Life is more simple now for him and we enjoy talking and looking at photos of our childhood years. Thru the years when choosing a mate, I often compared them to my father and often expected them to be like him and his example. Remember to love and thank your father for their tireless love and devotion to their familiy. Life becomes shorter everyday.
We love you Dad,
Stacy Johnson, Merideth Pankratz and Nick Allen
