Give dad a "Father's Day Promise"

Give dad a big award :)

Great Dad
By Wesley Smith
This is why my dad is the best. My dad is the best because he makes my day. My dad can fix my dirt bike. My dad sometimes cooks and it’s really good food. When I am sick he takes care of me always. If I was bored I could get him to ride bikes with me so I wasn’t bored. My dad is the coolest because he takes me camping every week. In the winter I have snowball fights with him. My dad is the greatest because he can do anything in his spare time. Last night he blocked my windows because I coudn’t sleep. I love my dad because he loves me.

I Love My Dad
By Zack Weisz
My Dad is the best because he loves me and buys me toys and video games. My dad lets me go to my grandma’s and lets me play football, hockey, soccer and baseball sometimes. He lets me go to friends houses and lets me have friends. He lets me go to KMart, Fred Meyers, and buys me food at Taco Bell, Arbys, McDonalds, and lets me go to BlockBuster to rent movies and games. He gives me money for when I need the money to buy stuff. He is always going to love me because I love him and he loves me.

Why I Love My Dad
By Jacob Iverson
This is why I love my dad. My dad is cool because he always plays catch with me. He loves my sisters and me because we are his own. He always tries to come to my parent teacher conferences. I like it when he cooks dinner for me because he is a good cook. He is the only dad that will do what I like to do. Everyone that knows him likes him because he is so darn cool. He helps me with exercising homework. He is the best dad that ever lived because he is always there for me.

Our father, Kevin Barrett, is an amazing man. To start with, he allowed us to live to reach maturity, and considering some of the things that we’ve done that was an amazing accomplishment. We threw rocks at his car, broke his ankle on our shoes, ran away and denied that he was our father when he came to pick us up, and basically made him miserable through our teenage years. Yet our father took it all in stride, realizing that some day we would grow up and come to our senses. We are old enough now to see the “errors” of our ways and see the qualities that our father possessed that helped to make us into the people we are today. Our Dad always made us laugh telling “Herman” stories or practicing the art of pretzel wearing on family trips. He could take anything in the kitchen amd make it into something edible, and thus “scout food” and “teddy bear mountains” (donuts topped with ice cream and teddy grahams) were born. He loved to take us camping and didn’t get too mad when we got scared and wanted to go home in the middle of the night. Our Dad always knew and still knows how to make us feel better. All of us have fond memories of sitting on Dad’s lap while he played the guitar. Through his example, he taught us to be honest, compassionate, hardworking, loyal, respectful, patriotic and to be ourselves. ‘Cause even when we were at our worst, our Dad still loved us.
We love you Dad!
