Oven baked with lemon, orange & onion slices inside the turkey with Herb Provance sprinkled inside and out, slow baked in the oven, YUM!
Deep fried is also a favorite when the bird is injected with beer and various seasonings and allowed to soak a couple days before frying it a golden crispy outside and juicy tender inside, another YUM!
Two of my favorites this time of year and Thankful for the ability to enjoy each Freely.
But i do worry how long we will be allowed to enjoy this American tradition due to PETA's adds showing a turkey with a dogs head on it and asking kids would you eat your pet dog, and if not why then eat a turkey?
Any other Good recipes or ideas on cooking would be appreciated and maybe even tried out.

That sounds really good Watchman and I may have to try that. I usually brine mine and stuff the bird with herbs, onions, and apple chunks. Very juicy and delish, and nothing beats that wonderful aroma all day long.
