There is much i could say about this manmade feast, but i will share that in other articles.
Use this time to help the needy, not the greedy, give food or money to organizations that help people.
IGA, Country Foods in Kenai has one of the BEST DEALS going for helping feed people with their buy a $24.99 Ham and get a 10-12 lb Turkey, a dozen eggs and a pound of bacon for FREE. In fact buy 10 or more and give them to the Salvation Army, Senior centers or food banks. This deal is every year and starts just before Thanksgiving and ends at New Yrs. No i don't work for or have any family that does work for IGA, it's just a GR8 way to get the biggest bang for your buck while helping others who need food, not junk toys or things of no value. Feed someone and know you have done a Good thing or give cash to help them with their bills at these differant centers of helps to the needy, not the greedy.

I believe we should send a Humbug the the Clarion. Our communities are small compaired to Anchorage but you can look to the newspaper there and find out where the best Christmas lights can be found.
Seems to me it would be nice to have that with "our local" paper. Maybe HEA could jump in as well, since they will be profiting from the extra cost with the additional electricity being used.
