It appears we will be leaving

It appears we will be leaving the emotion charged, under informed voter, vote for legislation that they will not study, will not use logic to decide and allow the media to manipulate their vote.
My guess is 1% or less of all votes in this poll actually read the bill or have any true idea of the implications of its enactment.
Why shouldn't we put it to a referendum? Apparently, those same voters were unable to elect officials that they trust, to do the bidding of the state. Since they feel they couldn't elect trustworthy representation, it only stands to reason that we should trust those same voters to decide the fiscal well being of the state! This makes perfect sense to me!
