SoHi after-prom team thanks volunteers, community

Once again, our incredibly generous community has risen to great heights in support of our youth! It is with deep gratitude that we thank the following businesses, organizations and individuals for their contributions to the SoHi After Prom event. Thanks to their generosity, we were able to host over 200 student guests at After Prom, providing them with FREE food, beverages, snacks, and sweets. Heartfelt thanks to ALL of our event volunteers and all those families who helped with set up, clean up, water and cupcake donations, as well as those who organized and worked the Sneak A Peek fundraiser for After Prom. We appreciate you!

We couldn’t have done it without the help and unwavering support of our SoHi office ladies! Special thanks to Kay Gardner for volunteering at the event until the wee hours of the morning and handling all of the paperwork! Many thanks, also, to Soldotna Prep, Skyview Middle, Tustumena Elementary, SoHi Baseball, Solid Rock Bible Camp, and the Peninsula Oilers for building and/or equipment use.

We would like to extend special thanks to the Soldotna Police Department and the Alaska State Troopers for stopping in during the event to visit with our young people in a positive way. We appreciate your care and concern for the safety of our youth! Thank you!

Our deepest appreciation to all those who had a hand in making this a successful event and our apologies to anyone who may have inadvertently been left out of the list above. Know that each and every contribution to After Prom was gratefully received!
